London Marathon Training Update

It’s been a while since my last training update so I thought it was about time that I wrote a quick update. London Marathon 2019: Another Fundraising Update

Fundraising It’s been just over a month since my last fundraising update so I thought it was time to write another update. In my last post I shared with you how I’d managed to raise £976.50 towards my £1,600 target for WellChild, the national charity for sick children. Since my last update I have managed to break through the £1,000 mark! I have now raised a total of £1,242.42! That’s 77% of my target, and means I have just £357.58 to go! What we did this week!

This week has been a funny old week! Sunday started out lovely. We went for a fun family walk to a local country park and had such a great time. Our girls loved walking through the forest pointing out funny looking trees, collecting sticks and running around! They even had a splash in the water! Nursery School Update

The girls have been going to nursery now since the beginning of September. To read how their first day went click here. In the run up to them starting nursery I was really anxious. They’ve always been looked after at home by a family member. They’ve never been away from mummy and daddy, and they’ve never been to a nursery. Sleep Update at Three Years Old

When our twins were born back in 2012 they slept like little angels for the first six months.  As soon as their first tooth started to come through sleep went out of the window. They went from sleeping in their own cots every night, all night to waking up frequently every night, all night.  We tried many different things to try to help them to sleep. Updating your spring/summer wardrobe

It’s always an awkward phase I feel. That time in between winter and summer known as spring! One day it’s lovely and warm with a pleasant breeze, the next it’s raining and blowing a gale like nobody’s business! It can be hard to decide how to dress in the mornings just by looking out of the window or opening the front door to ‘feel’ how warm or cold it is. Weight Loss Update: Week 8

I hoped that I would be starting this post in a better frame of my mind.   I’ve only got myself to blame and I should have seen it coming really.     I haven’t exercised again this week. Yes, I still have a cough, but my cold has gone now.   The first week of my cold I genuinely couldn’t have exercised because my chest was so tight.    The week after I still had a cold, but I was well enough to exercise. Weight Loss Update Week 7

To read my last update, please click here. I can’t believe it’s been seven weeks already. It doesn’t feel like it! At the beginning of my weight loss journey I weighed 11st1, which meant that my BMI was 25.64. Now, seven weeks later I weigh a healthy 10st5 and my BMI is now within the healthy range at 24.1. This means I have lost another 1lb this week! I know it’s not a massive loss, but I have a cold still which has meant that I haven’t been able to exercise again this week. Weight Loss Update Week 6

Although I still have a cold which has meant I haven’t been able to exercise again this week as I’m quite wheezy, I have been pretty much on track food wise.    Last week I gained 1lb, but I’m pleased to say that this week I have lost 1lb!
