Our family holiday in Majorca. Part Two!

Following on from my last post about our family holiday in Majorca, this is part two! Day Four After a busy day yesterday at Marineland, we decided to have a lazy day by the pool today. One of the great things about being on holiday is that you don’t need to get up early or rush to have breakfast. It’s just there waiting for you when you’re ready! I always love that I can have a bit of a lie in on holiday, because the girls end up going to bed later than usual which means they usually wake up… [Read More]

ELC Large Family Pool Review from Mothercare

Every summer I usually buy the girls a £5 paddling pool from the local supermarket. They’re not the kind that blow up, they’re the ridged sided ones, but they’ve always been lots of fun, however they usually only last for one summer.  When I asked to review something from Mothercare, I headed straight to the paddling pools and choose this Large Family Pool by ELC. It’s £35 and as the name of it goes, there’s certainly plenty of room for the whole family! I was surprised at how small the box was, but it was very heavy! Inside is the… [Read More]

Keep the kids entertained this summer and win a playhouse!

Win this playhouse! Summer is here! This week we’ve certainly had the summer weather and that means we’ve made the most of it by having lots of fun in the garden! Here are a few of the things that we love to do in our garden: Gardening R and M absolutely love to help me plant seeds, water plants and pick our fruits! This year is the first year that we’ve taken this gardening malarkey seriously! In march the girls helped me to plant a variety of seeds including carrots, spring onions, tomatoes, salads and herbs. They also helped me… [Read More]

Keep Calm You’re Pregnant!

I am thrilled to have written this post for the brilliant Twin Mummy blog, and hope it helps mummies-to-be! Guest post by Ickle Pickle. Click here to read her blog. Mummy teaches relaxation and meditation, so when she was pregnant with me it was natural for her to practise what she preaches!  When I was in mummy’s tummy, I picked up on everything that mummy experienced, her feelings, her thoughts, her moods. Mummy wanted to relax as much as possible, keep her stress levels low, and really connect with me. We had the most amazing pregnancy and birth. We were… [Read More]

Our Twins First Holiday

Family

Outside Cardiff Airport We have not long returned from our twins first holiday. We went to Menorca. Well, eight of us went! There was Twin Daddy and his three children (my step children), my mother-in-law, the twins and of course myself!  We were up at 6am and after we all had some breakfast, we did some last minute packing and decided to give the girls their lunch an hour early so they could have a decent nap before we left at 12.30pm.  The journey to the airport went well and we were there within half an hour of leaving.  I was really surprised… [Read More]

Zoggs Swim Jacket Review

M enjoying an ice lolly in her Zoggs Swim Jacket Twin Daddy and I returned home from Menorca on Friday after a lovely 7 day holiday. We were lucky enough to have been sent two Zoggs Swim Jackets to take away with us. I think Twin Daddy and I have taken the girls swimming 2-3 times since they were born. The first time they were only around 6 months old, but they enjoyed themselves. We didn’t use any swim aids such as armbands. We decided to just hold them in the water. Our twins are now 17 months old and… [Read More]
