Agents Double Team have received their fourth Bigjgs Play Patrol mission an it’s one of my favourite ones so far!
Mission four is to put our creative skills to the test to show you the creative potential of the toys we’ve been sent.
So with this in mind we’ve been very creative taking lots of photos and we’ve even created a video!
We were sent two toys to put to the test for this mission. First up is this fabulous
Build-a-Bouquet toy by Green Toys. Available online from Bigjigs for £20.99 and suitable from the age of two onward, this toy is like no other toy I’ve seen before!
I mean talk about flower power! This toy puts your creativity to the test in so many ways. It includes:
- 4 brightly coloured bases
- 16 stem and leaf pieces
- 24 flower pieces
A total of 44 pieces of fun!
The bases can be put together in either a line or you can clip them together to make a circle shape.
It’s great for twins because they can have two base pieces each!
The vibrant lilies, petunias and daisies can be stacked together in the assorted stems to create a colourful indoor garden.
You can mix and match the colours so it’s also a great way to teach children about different colours and also how to sort the same colours into groups.
M really enjoyed stacking the flowers to make them as tall as she could, whereas R really enjoyed matching the colours and putting the stems into the bases followed by the flowers.
I’ve never seen a toy like this before and I really do think it’s great! I’d buy it for my twins and would highly recommend it.
It’s safe, non-toxic; contains no BPA, PVC, phthalates of external coatings.
You could buy more than one set to create a big, impressive indoor garden as all the bases lock together.
This is also a great toy to teach children about the different parts of flowers. I showed R and M the stem, leaves and petals of the flowers. Overall, a great toy that provides hours of entertainment.
The second toy we were sent was this cute
Tea Set, which is also from Green Toys. Available for £19.99 and it’s also suitable from age two onward.
Our girls have a few tea sets already, including a BigJigs Tea Tray Set so this is another great addition. I think R and M would agree with me when I say that you can never have enough tea sets!
This set, like the Build-a-Bouquet set above is also safe, non-toxic, contains no BPA, PVC, phthalates or external coatings. It meets food contact safety standards and it’s also dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.
The set includes:
- 1 teapot
- 1 milk jug
- 1 sugar pot
- 4 spoons
- 4 teacups
- 4 plates
The teapot is actually a ‘working’ tea set in the sense that you can pout liquids into it and it’ll pour out the spout.
The vibrant colours are attractive to look at and all items included in this set are lightweight so it’s easy for little hands to hold.
The plastic is very durable, which is great because it means if any of the plates or other items get stood on thrown they won’t bend or break easily.
R and M loved using the yellow spoons to add ‘sugar’ to their teacups, followed by ‘milk’ and ‘water’ to make their ‘tea’.
This tea set can also help children learn to count, by counting out the number of ‘sugars’.
The quality of this tea set means it’s great value for money. It’s durable and sturdy, so it will last and last.
