The Christmas Boutique Review

November 10, 2014
I’m so looking forward to Christmas this year! The twins gifts have been bought and all that’s left to do is put them together and wrap them up! I can’t wait to see their little faces light up Christmas morning when they see what Santa has brought them!
When it comes to Christmas I’m like a big kid! I love the whole run up to Christmas! The buying and wrapping presents, cooking the Christmas cake and putting decorations up! I actually made some crafty Christmas trees with the twins a few weeks ago!
We have a few Christmas decorations, but we’ve never really been ones for spending a lot of money on decorations. However, we’re currently giving our home a mini make-over and with this, I’d like to get some new Christmas decorations. For the twins of course! They’re a bit older now and more aware of Christmas so it’’ll be nice to have a Christmas feel around our home.
We were recently sent a range of gifts from The Christmas Boutique to review and they didn’t disappoint! The Christmas Boutique offers a unique range of Christmas decorations, gifts and accessories delivered to your door.
We were sent…

A fantastically cute detailed wall mounted Christmas moose head in a metallic magenta finish. This item is available in three colours – green, magenta or pink.

It’s small at 14cm tall and 13cm wide, but it’s so cute! It’s an unusual design, made from detailed resin. It can be mounted on the wall or can be leant up against shelf or picture on a mantel piece maybe.

It’s great quality and has a real festive feel to it. I think it would look great on a wall on its own or as a set if you bought all three colours.
A pair of glass tea light holders with Christmas silhouette designs. This is a very pretty set of two Christmas tea light holders with a Father Christmas Design on. It’s available in either a matt or gloss finish.

The vibrant red and green colours give it a very festive feel, especially when you can see a tea light flickering from inside which has a mirror finish to help reflect the light.

These would look great on a mantel piece, shelf or on your dining table.
My favourite thing that we were sent is this fabulous extra-long tower house felt advent calendar with fabric pockets.

It’s 170cm long and is just the perfect alternative to a chocolate advent calendar. You can fill it with small gifts, handwritten quotes and jokes, money, pretty much anything you want! There are lots around on Pinterest!

It has 24 pockets which have each been individually made with its own patterned fabric and fancy numbers. It really helps to add a seasonal touch to your home!
It has a small fabric loop at the top so that you can hang it from a hook.
When it comes to decorating our Christmas tree we were sent a set of three red fabric and button Christmas tree decorations in a heart, star and tree design.

These cute decorations are handmade and they’re really well made. They’re great quality, have been sewn well and the red fabric is super soft to touch.

Each decoration has a jute cord hanger on and the buttons are all in festive colours.
We were also sent a set of two star shaped glass Christmas baubles in red and green. These will be hung high up on our tree so little hands can’t pull them off!

These traditional decorations look festive and come with a ribbon hanger. The star has a pearl coloured middle with a gold star decoration behind it and it’ll look very sparkly when shining in front of our Christmas tree lights.

Last, but not least we received this set of two tartan and natural linen Christmas gift bags. I love the idea of saving time on wrapping a few presents and these sacks are the perfect alternative. They’re designed for small gifts and all you need to do is simply pop the item into the bag, tie it up with the handy attached jute string and you’re done!

A hassle free, impressive way of presenting your gifts to loved ones. Each bag is 25cm long and 18cm wide and have a ‘Merry Christmas’ message on.

Overall, we’re very pleased with the items we were sent and I’d highly recommend The Christmas Boutique for all your Christmas decorations!
For the purpose of this review we were sent the above products free of charge. All opinions are 100% my own.

I love the advent calendar – it's great to be able to put something other than chocolate into the pockets…I might just get one for our house!
