I haven’t been able to run properly for around 5 to 6 weeks now. Unfortunately a few weeks back, I injured my leg and have been trying to my best (despite the odd ‘test’ run) to rest. London Marathon 2019: Another Fundraising Update

Fundraising It’s been just over a month since my last fundraising update so I thought it was time to write another update. In my last post I shared with you how I’d managed to raise £976.50 towards my £1,600 target for WellChild, the national charity for sick children. London Marathon 2019: Fundraising Update

It’s been almost one month since my first fundraising update so I thought I’d write another update with you to share my progress. In my last fundraising post, which you can read here, I shared the amazing news that I’d managed to raise £455.18. That’s 28% of my £1,600 fundraising target for WellChild. My First Fundraising Event: An Update

As many people know I’ll be running the London Marathon next year for WellChild, the national charity for sick children. As part of accepting a charity place with WellChild I have a fundraising target of £1,600. I made the first donation of £100 to confirm my place, and I have since raised a good amount already through online donations, selling second hand goods, and from making crafts and selling them. I’m running London Marathon 2019!

When I started running back in March 2017, I never imagined that one day I would run a half marathon, but that’s exactly what I’ve done! Last year I completed the Cardiff Half Marathon in 2 hours 29 minutes.
