10 easy ways to grow your brand

July 3, 2014
  • Chose the right name for your brand! This is probably one of the hardest things a brand has to do. You’ll want to chose a name that’s easy to remember, that tells your target audience what it is that you do and most importantly one that will grow with you over the years
  • Establish what you want your brand to look like. Chose a design that’s fresh, relevant and again one that can grow with you as your business grows. Make sure all of your marketing materials have the same design. This is a great way to grow a recognisable brand
  • Create a website. This doesn’t need to be expensive to start with. There are lots of places online where you can create a website for free. As your brand and success grows, you can look at hiring a professional to help you create a more professional looking website

  • Employ a Media Agency. Media Agencies such as Total Media help brands with sustained growth. They do this in a number of ways such as planning campaigns across all media from press to digital  to direct response media
  • Build up a loyal following. The best way to do this is to communicate with your target audience. Using social media is the best way to do this.
  • Ask bloggers to help promote you, but make sure you offer bloggers something worthwhile in return. There are more and more bloggers now than ever before. They’re the social influencers. They’re trusted and people value their opinions
  • Find your allies. Look for other brands who have the same values as you, the same target audience and see if you can help one another. Working together and building relationships with other brands is important to help grow your brand
  • Be personable. I love it when a company or brand has photos or even better, videos of it’s staff members. It helps your customers see that you are real people
  • Be who you say you are. If you promise to do something, do it. If you say you sell something, sell it. Be honest, upfront and don’t hide anything. You’ll want your customers and allies to trust you and this will help build up a loyal following
