The Ultimate X-Factor Night In
I love the X-Factor!
There, I’ve said it!
I can’t sing. I can’t write songs and I can’t even dance, but that doesn’t stop me from making the most of our X-Factor weekends!
My absolute favourite part is watching the auditions. Especially when they show the auditions from our home town, Cardiff.
I’ve been tempted to enter myself just so I can meet the judges, but the chances of the producers putting me through to see the judges are probably slim to none!
Regardless of this fact though our household have our own unique way of watching the auditions. When the kids are in bed we dig out the snacks, don our best X-Factor judges ‘voices’ and open up the official X-Factor app on our phones!
That red button is so enticing! Even if I love an act I just can’t help, but press the button! I’d be no good as judge! Too ‘buzzer’ happy! I’d be pressing it all the time!
I’ve got to say before I go on that I am a fan of Jedward! Maybe it’s a twin thing. You know what with me being an identical twin and having non-identical twin daughters myself too!
With that in mind did you see Josh and Kyle Brooks? The twin brothers who performed Westlife’s ‘Us against the world’ song and totally smashed it in my opinion!
They were great!
They sang well, harmonised well and they even look like mini pop stars!
I’ll be sure to keep an eye on them over the next few weeks and I’ll be spurring them on from behind my snack platter!
It may seem a little strange to you that we have these ultimate X-Factor night in’s, but when you have young children it’s the little things that are important.
Spending time cuddling up to my husband on the sofa, talking about the acts, what the judges wear and of course casting our own opinions of the auditions too makes for a great date night!
We have some pretty random conversations, but one of my favourites is deciding which judge we would be.
I’d have to say that I would be Cheryl Cole. She’s gorgeous, always looks great and isn’t short of a few bob either!
My husband would be Simon Cowell. Not because he wears his trousers around his belly button, but because he tends to always with Simon’s opinions of the acts.
I tend to disagree with them so this can make for interesting debates!
As I mentioned earlier one of my favourite parts if the auditions, but I do also love watching the live shows.
I kind of hope that something will go wrong! Not in a horrible way, but in a funny, blooper sort of way!
I really enjoy watching the judges interacting with each other and taking the mick out of each other! Just like me and my husband!
I’m already looking forward to this week’s shows!
Do you like watching the X-factor? Who will you be backing?
