National Twin Day UK and The Twins Gift Company Review

National Twin Day UK will take place in Wicksteed Park in Kettering on 13th September and it’s set to be the biggest gathering of twins, triplets and multiples in the UK.

To honour this special occasions, The Twins Gift Company has released a beautiful selection of unique gifts, and will be donating 10% of proceeds on the day to The Department of Twin Research run by St Thomas’ Hospital.
The Twins Gift Company kindly sent us two hand crochet Cheeky Monkey Toys for us to review.
They’re available in pink and green for just £18.00 each. We were sent two pink ones.

They’re hand made from special bamboo yarns and R and M absolutely love them!
They have long tails and limbs, plus the pink version has a super cute tutu!
They’re made in beautiful bright colours and they can sit up unaided which is great for when they’re not being played because they help to brighten up any room by sitting on a shelf!
The monkeys are really great quality and can be machine washed and tumbled dried on a low heat.
They have cute little shoes on and are adorable! R and M carry them everywhere and even taken them to bed!
They’re starting to develop a liking for certain toys, so they always end up with far too many come bedtime!

I started Twin Mummy and Daddy in 2012.  

Over time Twin Mummy and Daddy has gone from strength to strength. I write about our family life, my love for running and our passion for adventure and travel.  

We’ve also started living a more eco-friendly life. As such I also write about our zero waste journey in a bid to encourage others to think about the impact they have on the environment.

I’m a keen runner and in April 2019 I ran the London Marathon for an amazing charity called WellChild. It’s one of my biggest achievements to date. I raised over £2,000 for the charity and learnt so much along the way.

This year we’re passionate about spending time outdoors. We’ll be sharing our travel, days out and camping adventures right here on Twin Mummy and Daddy.
