Kids Trainer Review from Get The Label

September 6, 2015
When it comes to buying shoes for your children where’s your first point of call?
Do you go to your local supermarket or sports shop, maybe to the market or ask friends and family for recommendations?
I usually do a mixture of all three as I like to be able to try the shoes on my girls to ensure they fit before I buy.

Recently I took my girls to have their feet measured so that I could buy them some new school shoes. It wasn’t until I got home that I realised they’d need some trainers too. To save me from going back to go the shops, I decided to look online to see what I could find and I also thought I might be able to save some money from buying online. I already knew their shoe size as they’d just been measured.
When Get The Label got in touch to see if I’d like to review something from their back to school range, I immediately headed to their kids shoes section. There were lots of different styles of shoes to choose from. I refined my search by just looking for shoes available in the girls size and I found these two pairs which I thought our girls would love!
Delivery was quick and the shoes arrived well packaged.
The Adidas Disney trainers which feature Minnie Mouse on the tongue are a vibrant shade of pink. I love that the Velcro closure is in the shape of the famous Minnie Mouse bow, although M is quite convinced it’s a butterfly!
They have the Adidas trademark three stripe branding to the sides in white which blends in well.
These shoes are superb quality and at just £21.99, I think they’re really good value. They look good and M has assured me that they’re comfortable. Due to the style they also go with lots of different outfits from jeans to dresses and shorts. They’ll be great all year round and M insists on wearing them every day!

The LK6 Adidas Trainers look fresh and super cute with the white and pink design. They’re lightweight, durable and like the Minnie Mouse trainers, they’re both breathable and have a cushioning inner sole. These trainers are available for just £15.99.

Overall, I’m very impressed with the quality, durability and design of both of the trainers, but I’m also impressed with the ease of shopping online with Get The Label. Plus delivery was really quick too.
For the purpose of this review were sent the above two pairs of trainers to review. All views and opinions are 100% my own.

They're both lovely designs … I thought it was a butterfly at first! I really like shoes with velcro as it's so much easier than laces. This sounds like a great service.

Hi Alana, thanks for your comment. I did too, until I got a closer look and realised it was a bow! x
