First Trip to the Library

July 22, 2013

I love reading. I remember one of the very first books I ever read was ‘The Naughtiest Girl in the School’ by Enid Blyton. I absolutely loved that book. Another childhood favourite of mine was ‘The Animals of Farthingwood’ by Colin Dann. It was a TV series originally and I remember coming home from school and watching it. Approaching adulthood I recall one of the first books I bought myself was ‘Along came a Spider’ by James Patterson. Ever since I read that book I was hooked! I’ve bought and read nearly all of James Patterson’s books. I would finish each book within a week and make a start on the next one almost immediately!

It’s fair to say that books are a passion of mine and it appears that both R and M also enjoy looking at books. A few weeks ago I decided to take to the girls to the library. They have a childrens corner with a little table surrounded by chairs. They even had a few knitted soft toys!

Our girls loved looking at the books and pulling them all off the shelves! I couldn’t keep up! As quick as I was putting them back on the shelves they were pulling more off!

Does your little one love to look at books and read?
