As a mum of twins my changing bag is fit to burst. Although my girls are three years old I still use a changing bag everyday and it’s always full, with hardly any room to spare.
With that in mind it’s important to me that a changing bag is both spacious and durable. The contents of my changing bag usually consists of:
- Folding portable potty
- Two complete spare changes of clothes (2 pairs of leggings, 2 tops, 2 pairs of socks, 2 pairs of knickers)
- Two drink bottles
- Some snacks (crisps, fruit etc)
- My purse and keys
In addition to this my twins, R and M, carry with them a comforter and a toy each. Quite often they’ll also end up in my bag as well. As you can see I carry a lot with me!
When Caboodle Bags kindly gave me the chance to review one of their bags I was keen to put it to the test!
Caboodle Bags was started by mum, Ruth Kirby-Smith. After the birth of her second child she designed the baby bag that she would like to have.
The name ‘Caboodle’ came after Ruth saw a car on the motorway loaded up with mum, dad, kids and luggage. “Gosh, they’re taking the whole Caboodle” thought Ruth…and there was the name for her company and product!
I was sent a beautiful Everyday Changing Bag to review.
I love the stylish design and the animal-print like pattern on the front of the bag.
It’s fun. It’s funky. It’s fresh and it will never look out of fashion.
The front of the bag features two pockets which close with the use of poppers.
These pockets are ideal for keeping things that you’ll want to be able access quickly and easily such as dummies, loose change and tissues.
I like that they don’t have a zip because it means you can easily pop your hand in to grab what you want whilst on the move.
The front of the bag also features the Caboodle logo which is designed perfectly to match the design of the bag.
The long adjustable strap is ideal for wearing either on your shoulder or across your body, but it’s also long enough to be hung over the handle bars of a pushchair.
The back of the bag is a plain black with a zip. Great for keeping your debit card or mobile phone in for ease of access.
One of the main things that I like about this bag is that you don’t just get a bag. Inside you can find a wipe-clean changing mat, insulated bottle holder and small zip-up bag.
Inside the bag is a cute star design with an inner zip pocket.
The bag is spacious and the base is also wipe-clean which is superb as I quite find that the girls drink bottles tend to leak a bit on occasion.
Also inside the bag are three elasticated pockets. I like these as you can bottles upright in them to prevent them from spilling. They’re also great for storing a bottle of sun-cream in on a hot summers day.
As well as the bag, changing mat, insulated bottle holder and zip-up bag, it also comes with a storage bag so when you’re not using it you can ensure it stays clean and free from dust.
The features of the Everyday Changing Bag are:
- Gucci coated nylon material
- Adjustable webbing shoulder strap
- Four internal pockets with mum’s zipped pocket and phone pouch
- Two external pockets
- Changing mat
- Insulated bottle bag
- Grubby stuff bag (zip-up bag)
- Size: (cms) 42 wide x 28 high x 18 deep
Overall I’m very pleased with the Everyday Changing Bag from Caboodle Bags. It’s stylish, practical and durable, as well being spacious enough for all the things that my twins and I need.
Would I recommend a Caboodle Everyday Changing Bag?

Lovely bag! I never really did get any fancy changing bags. But I think if I was too ever have another one I think I would go out to buy a really nice one and I think this bag would be on my list! x

It's gorg, I don't like bags that look like a changing bag. This one is great, I better go check them out; my mild obsession has me with 3 changing bags at the moment. You seem very well organised, guess twins will do that to you!
