Holiday fashion

June 8, 2015
In just a few weeks’ time I’ll be sunning myself in Menorca and I can’t wait!
I’m going on holiday with my husband and our three year old twin girls, my step-son and my mother-in-law.
When it comes to going holiday I like to buy some new clothes for both myself and my girls. My wardrobe will usually consist of a few maxi dresses for the evening and some ‘casual’ ones to kick about in during the day.
I’ll also have some cheap strappy dresses for the day to wear to the b each, by the pool or when wandering around the shops.
I bought this amazing pink skirt from ASDA the other day along with some strappy vests which were a bargain at just £2.50 each!

I love the bright colours of the skirt and I think teamed up a pair of pretty sandals and a vest top, it’ll be a great summer look.
I’m not usually one for wearing shorts, but I did also treat myself to two pairs of shorts, also from ASDA. I think they’d be great to wear by the pool, beach and maybe also in the evenings too.
My swimwear this year consists of an all in one swimsuit. It’s the first year for a very long time that I won’t be wearing a bikini or tankini! On our last holiday two years ago, I wore a bikini and just felt so self-conscience in all the time. I was too busy worrying about holding my tummy in that I didn’t full enjoy the time I spent by the pool.
This year will be different as I have a wonderful swimsuit which offers great support and is super comfortable and fashionable too!
I also have a range of different shoes too. These fabulous sandals from Pisamonas, as well as some pumps from Shoezone and some flip flops from ASDA!

When it comes to the kids I tend to head straight to Primark for their bargain £1.50 t-shirts. I bought some two years ago for our last holiday and they lasted well so I knew to get some more again this year!
My husband also bought the twins these beautiful dresses, hats, super cute flip flops and sunglasses too – all from Primark.

I imagine we’d spend most of the day by the pool so we have two swimsuits for the girls – always good to have a spare!
In addition to the t-shirts, I’ve got some dresses, shorts and vests for them too.
I was going to buy some playsuits as well, but although they look cute on they’re not very practical when it comes to the girls needing the toilet as you need to take off the whole playsuit! Not ideal really, so I’ll stick to dresses and shorts for them!

I hope you all enjoy your holiday. It's so exciting going holiday shopping 🙂 Primark is great for kids t-shirts. We don't have one locally, so went recently for the first time since Osian was born, and was amazed by the prices! Xx
