With summer almost upon us what perfect way to spend the warm, sunny days than in the garden with the kids playing swingball!
When I was growing up my sister and I had a swingball set and we absolutely loved it! It was so much fun.
I was recently sent a swingball set from House of Fraser to review, plus there’s a chance for you to win your very own swingball set too!
The first swingball game is suitable for children aged three onward and it comes in a very handy carry case so you can take it on your travels with you.

Everything you need to get started can be found inside.

It was very easy to set up by simply inserting the green poles into the yellow connectors and base.

It only took me a few minutes before it was ready to be played with.

The base can be filled with water or sand to ensure that it doesn’t fall over. We’ve only used inside at the moment due to the bad weather and have found that it doesn’t fall over with no water or sand in the base, but I imagine outdoors you would definitely need something in the base to stop it from being blown over. It’s made from plastic from cut my plastic so is very lightweight.

The bats are made of sturdy plastic and the ball is made of foam so if it does hit you it doesn’t hurt.

Overall, we’re very pleased with this swingball set and can see us having lots of fun using it in the summer.

I started Twin Mummy and Daddy in 2012.  

Over time Twin Mummy and Daddy has gone from strength to strength. I write about our family life, my love for running and our passion for adventure and travel.  

We’ve also started living a more eco-friendly life. As such I also write about our zero waste journey in a bid to encourage others to think about the impact they have on the environment.

I’m a keen runner and in April 2019 I ran the London Marathon for an amazing charity called WellChild. It’s one of my biggest achievements to date. I raised over £2,000 for the charity and learnt so much along the way.

This year we’re passionate about spending time outdoors. We’ll be sharing our travel, days out and camping adventures right here on Twin Mummy and Daddy.

    We've got a swingball set and my two love it! I use to have one when I was a child too so it's lovely to see them playing with it. #TriedTested

    We love swingball, there are two currently in use at Coombe Mill this year and both loved, always room for a third!
