We're in our new house! Now it's time to tidy the garden!

It’s official we’re in our new house! It feels like it’s been a long time coming, but we’re in and now the hard work starts!

We have a mountain of boxes that need to be unpacked which I’m not looking forward too! 

Thankfully my husband will probably do most of it, which means the garden will be left to me!
I love my garden and don’t mind getting my hands dirty, but our new garden has a pretty big tree hanging over the back fence which has left a lot of leaves on the grass! 
I think a leaf blower would probably be a good investment. I don’t want the grass underneath to go mulchy as I love a lush looking lawn!



If you hadn’t noticed there’s also a greenhouse which I am super happy about! The girls and I love growing our own vegetables and fruit so we’re looking forward to making a start!

I was very impressed to find a plant bed inside the greenhouse too so my plants will be protected from the cold and also from insects!
I’ll write again about our move when we’re a bit more settled in!

I started Twin Mummy and Daddy in 2012.  

Over time Twin Mummy and Daddy has gone from strength to strength. I write about our family life, my love for running and our passion for adventure and travel.  

We’ve also started living a more eco-friendly life. As such I also write about our zero waste journey in a bid to encourage others to think about the impact they have on the environment.

I’m a keen runner and in April 2019 I ran the London Marathon for an amazing charity called WellChild. It’s one of my biggest achievements to date. I raised over £2,000 for the charity and learnt so much along the way.

This year we’re passionate about spending time outdoors. We’ll be sharing our travel, days out and camping adventures right here on Twin Mummy and Daddy.

    I love that garden, looks a good size for your 2 little ones. Hopefully we will get a good summer, so you can enjoy it x
