Spot A Lot! Animal Escape is a fun and educational children’s book. Written by award-winning picture book author Steve Smallman, we follow the story of a zookeeper who is looking for her animals. You see there’s trouble at the zoo today because all of the animals have run away!
 

 They’re everywhere! With the help of our girls, R and M, we have to look very carefully as we help the zookeeper count and spot all of the zoo runaways in this great animal escape!

Full of bright colours, hiding animals and beautiful illustrations this book offers up lots of fun for children.
Published by Parragon Publishing this paperback book is 32 pages long. Although the book may seem quite long, each page has just a sentence or two on which makes it perfect for early readers!
The pictures are very busy which can make spotting the animals a bit difficult for younger children and I found that some of the animals looked similar to one another which did confuse my girls a little, however they did enjoy searching the pages for the animals.
In addition to finding the animals we also needed to count them to make sure that none were missing.
This is a great book to help reinforce colours and counting skills.

    I love the illustrations. This would be a win in our house as my toddler loves animals and is just learning to count and identify colours
