Sewing Project: Elephant Cuddly Toy

June 1, 2016

Not that long ago I wrote a post and shared my first ever Dolls and Daydreams creations. A mermaid and a superhero.

Ever since making them I’m hooked and couldn’t wait to get started on making another fun creation!
This time around I decided to purchase the elephant pattern. The reason I chose this pattern is because my girls and I have an ongoing ‘joke’ about elephants.
If we’re playing a guessing game or something ‘I spy’, I always mess around and give my answer as ‘an elephant!’ The girls think it’s funny and it’s kind of just grown from there!
I decided to make the girls one each, but also myself!
Here are some photos of them in making and of course, the finally product.

The thing that I love most about the Dolls and Daydreams patterns is that they’re so much fun to make, plus the instructions and photos that accompany the instructions are really easy to follow.
My next project is a knight for R and a ballerina for M!

These are gorgeous! You are doing so well with your sewing, you have inspired me. I should get my sewing machine out and try making clothes again.

These are so cute. Elephants are my fave animal. So lovely that you are able to make the girls keepsakes. I am rubbish at stuff like that x

They are absolutely gorgeous! I love little crafty posts and I bet they're fun to make with the kiddies. My children are still really little but I hope once they're older we can have fun making crafts like this. Right now it's all a little bit messy and not fun at all #bestandworst
