New Home, New Garden, New Furniture!

Our previous landlord decided it was time to sell up, which meant that it was time for us to move on and find a new home. I always say that everything happens for a reason and I genuinely believe that, even if at times I don’t know what that reason is.

It seems that the reason behind our recent move was to enable our family to have a better home and with that a better quality of life. 

Our previous home was quite small and although it did have a lovely garden, it wasn’t enclosed. It was on a road with no possible way of making it private because the path surrounding it was used by us and our neighbours. 

Our new home, a three bedroom dorma-bungalow, has a beautiful enclosed garden which is accessed via the conservatory. The garden has three tiers because it’s on a hill. 

The first tier is decking. It’s such a great space for outdoor dining. My husband can’t wait for the summer so that he can have a barbecue! 

With that in mind it’s definitely time to get some new garden furniture! At first I thought that I might like a nice, little wooden picnic bench, but in hindsight I think the option of a table and some chairs would be better, especially with children. I could just imagine them leaning backward on a picnic bench and falling onto the floor behind them! 

Not only that a table and chairs would be easier to move around the garden if we needed to and we could also store it with more ease in our garage. 

The second tier of our garden is grass. Our twins have a slide so I think this tier would be an ideal place for their slide to go and it would also mean that there would be plenty of room for their paddling pool to go alongside it in the summer. 

The third and bottom tier is also grass, but to the left of it we have a fairly large trampoline. I’d like to put the girls swings on this tier, but I’m not sure if there’s enough room for them both and I also wonder if there’s enough room for them to actually swing back and forth without hitting a fence or wall!

Either way I’m sure we’ll figure something out! I have to admit that I’m really looking forward to summer now that we  have an enclosed garden!This is a sponsored post.
