It’s been all the rage for quite a while now so I think I’m pretty late to the party, but I’ve finally got my very own selfie stick!
I take a lot of pictures on my iPhone so I was sure that I could put this device to the test!
The first time I actually used my selfie stick was on the day that I moved into my new home. My sister had asked me to send her some pictures of my new home so that she could see what it looked like it. I took a few photos with my phone without using the selfie stick, but found that I cut large portions of the room off. I decided to use the selfie stick and I was able to capture a really good picture of some of the rooms in my new home. Maybe estate agents should think about using selfie sticks when it comes to photographing homes?!
So aside from using my selfie stick to take pictures of my new home, I’ve also used it to take some family photos. This is my favourite way to use the selfie stick. As mentioned above I take a lot of pictures, but they’re usually just ones of the girls together or the girls with their dad. We don’t actually have many photos of the four of us together.
I think I’ll be using this selfie stick to take one picture a month of us altogether.
I have the Monopod selfie stick with a Bluetooth remote. It’s very easy to set up.
The stick itself easily extends to a good height and it holds my iPhone 6 Plus securely. You could use pretty much any phone with this stick as the part where you put your phone is spring loaded, so you just pull it out, pop your phone in and let go so that it holds your phone in place.
The Bluetooth remote is very simply to use. Simply turn on the remote and Bluetooth on your phone and search for the remote. Once you’ve found it, connect it and it’s as easy as that!
To take a picture simply press the button on the remote!
Overall, I’m pleasantly surprised by the selfie stick and can definitely see me using it on a regular basis.
This selfie stick was sent to me by Presents for Men, the online shop for
