Disney Bedroom Makeover

We’ve been living in our current home for around three years. When we first moved in we promised our twin girls that we would decorate their bedroom. Fast forward three years and we still hadn’t got around to decorating it. We’re renting so spending money on redecorating a home we don’t own wasn’t top of the list of our priorities. However, our twins turned six years old this year and the Frozen themed curtains just seemed too babyish all of a sudden. After our holiday to Disney, we promised our girls that we would redecorate their bedroom. I didn’t want… [Read More]

Redecorating a room using wall murals

My husband and I are always looking for new ways to redecorate our house quickly and easily. As we’re renting, we don’t want to spend too much money, but at the same time we want a great end result. We have beautiful grey sofas with colourful buttons on, but the rest of our living room has remained untouched since we moved in over a year ago. Our ideal home

When my husband and I moved into our first home, it was all a bit rushed and last minute. We didn’t have time to carefully consider the area we would move to, or what type of home we’d like. However, now that we’re older and have worked hard, we’ve been starting to think about our ideal home. We’re currently renting, but we dream of owning our own home one day. We’ve already come to terms with the fact that this will probably be a maisonette, hopefully on the ground floor, with a fairly nice garden for our children to play… [Read More]

All I want for 2018 is….

Every new year brings a new start. It’s a time for people to make resolutions, reflect on the year gone by, and think about what the new year will bring. As I wrote earlier this month, I’ve decided not to make any new years resolutions. I ran my first half marathon, and I have a very positive outlook on life. My children are happy and settled in school, and although I accepted redundancy from the company… [Read More]
