Luv My Blankee Review
Most children have a comfort item.
It may be a toy, a blanket or a pair of daddy’s short as is the case in our home!
Either way having an item such as a blanket for your child can help your little one feel safe, confident and secure.
R has a blanket that she takes everywhere with her. It was her special care blanket.
She sleeps with it, cuddles it and plays with it.
M has a special care blanket too, but she’s no longer attached to hers as daddy’s shorts are now her item of choice!
It all started when daddy bought a pair of new shorts for himself.
One night he was cuddling M to sleep and she was holding the cords on the shorts. Ever since those cords and the shorts attached go everywhere with her!
They come with us to the supermarket, to the park and even to playgroup!
Luv My Blankee recently sent us two animal safari blankets for R and M. They arrived beautifully presented in a white box adorned with a pink bow and the Luv My Blankee logo on.
They’re made with super soft fabric and the reverse side is the same super soft fabric with either an embossed dimple or paisley pattern.
They’re finished with a coordinated 2” satin trim.
I was really surprised by how soft these blankets are. Unlike blankets that I’ve bought from supermarkets and baby shops, these blankets are great quality.
They don’t bobble in the wash and they retain their softness. You can simply pop them in the washing machine and they can even be dried in a tumble dryer. The blankets are also hypo-allergic and lead free.
M asks for her blanket all the time now. It hasn’t replaced daddy’s shorts, but it’s a very close second.
M loves walking around with the blanket wrapped around her.
She likes to sit on the sofa watching TV with it over her too!
I really like that every blanket also features a unique ‘Dummy Pocket’.
When I’m out and have to rummage through a handbag, pocket or changing bag for a dummy it can be quite frustrating, but this pocket means you can easily find a dummy.
R really likes to point at the animals on the blanket and likes to snuggle under hers in front of the TV too.
I’ve actually asked Lucy if she’ll be creating some blankets for adults as I would love one for myself. I love snuggling on the sofa under a blanket and watching TV or reading a book. Lucy has said this is something she’s thought about, so I’ll be keeping a look out!
The blankets are generously sized at 70 x 90cm, so they’re great for trips out in the stroller, for use at a friend’s house to lay baby on and just for cuddling on the sofa.

Luv My Blankee was set up by Lucy. A mum of three, who moved from Surrey to Devon 18 months ago.
The blankets that Lucy sells are very popular in America and are more commonly known as minky or plush. This is where Lucy first came across them.
Lucy had an idea about retailing these types of blankets in the UK. Her aim is to make Luv My Blankee the one stop shop for plush blankets by having an extensive range that you can’t find anywhere else.
The great thing about Luv My Blankee is that they’re hand made in Devon. Unlike similar products which are made in factories in China, LuvMy Blankee products have been ethically made.
This is really important to Lucy and she hopes that as her company grows she’ll continue to source the blankets locally in Devon. As well as supporting the British economy, customers can purchase her products with the peace of mind that they are ethically made.

The blankets look great. My little boy likes to rub something against his hand when he's trying to fall asleep. He loves the feel of different textures. The embossed blanket would be so comforting to him. x
