Halloween!

It’s that time of year again where all the children in your neighbourhood will be getting exited about dressing up in something wonderfully wicked, going trick or treating and filling their bellies with as many sweets as possible!


Last Halloween I didn’t dress the girls up as I thought they were still too little and we didn’t do anything for Halloween last year, mainly because we lived in a second floor flat and in the whole eight years that we lived there no-one knocked our door on Halloween!


Not because we were way too scary or anything, just because of the big security doors and buzzers that were needed to be opened to gain access!


We now live in a ground floor maisonette, so I’m kind of expecting to have a few trick or treaters at our door! 


With this in mind I have been looking at the wide range of fancy dress costumes available and whilst I think a little red riding hood outfit would be perfect for our girls, I have a funny feeling that they would prefer to dress up as a superhero judging by the amount of time and energy they both spend running around! I saw these fun superhero fancy dress outfits and I love the Despicable Me Female Minion (Kids) costume!


I would also love to give carving a pumpkin a go! I think that houses with lit up pumpkins outside look quite enchanting on Halloween and I’ll be sure to have a big bowl of sweets ready for any monsters or witches that might make an appearance!
