A Christmas Eve Tradition

December 24, 2013
I hadn’t planned to write this post today. In fact I had a post scheduled about something completely different, but on my way into work this morning I popped into the pound shop and decided to start an impromptu Christmas tradition!
I have read a few blog posts over the past weeks about people giving their children little gifts on Christmas eve and if you’ve read my  ‘Creating Our Own Christmas Traditions’ post I did mention that when our girls are a little older on Christmas eve we would present our girls with a new pair of festive pyjamas each and then all settle down in front of the TV with a hot drink to watch a Christmas film.
However, as I entered the pound shop I thought why wait until they are older to have a little treat on Christmas eve? So here is what I bought!

A festive teddy bear!

A princess activity pack which included…
A puzzle book which you can colour in!
A poster to colour in!

A story and colour book with pencils!

Some Chocolate coins!

I also picked up the cute owl bags (pictures at the top of this post) from the pound shop too!

I’m also hoping to pop into the supermarket on the way home from work, so I will see if I can pick up a pair of festive pyjamas each for the girls too!
