Watchbot Review and Giveaway

As a new parent we all want what’s best for our children.

We all want to protect our children and this means protecting our homes too.

I was recently lucky enough to be sent a Watchbot Wireless Security Camera to review.

Watchbot is a wireless home and business security camera which allows you to remotely view and monitor what’s important to you, even if you are thousands of miles away.

You can use Watchbot to monitor your home whilst you’re at work or on holiday. You can even use it as a baby monitoring camera, as a camera to protect elderly relatives or as a pet monitoring camera.

You can connect up to 64 Watchbots so it can be used as a business security camera to safeguard premises, staff and stock.

You can set up the Watchbot on your mobile device or using a computer in less than five minutes.

I first decided to download the app to my iPhone so that I could view my home from my phone.

Setup was quick and easy. In fact I didn’t really need to do much!

If you’re not very techy I can’t imagine you’d have much trouble setting it up, but if you do Watchbot have some great video tutorials on their website.

Setting up the Watchbot on my laptop was just as easy as setting it up via the iPhone app. I managed to set it up so I can it with wi-fi, hence wireless!

The picture quality on both the mobile app and desktop app is superb. You can clearly see people’s faces and it’s not as grainy as I thought it might be!

So far, I’ve used this camera to watch our twins play whilst I was having a shower in the room next door and I’ve used it to watch them sleep. We’ve even captured our funky dance moves when I forgot to turn it off!

I do with that the cord to plug the Watchbot in with was a bit longer or that you could use batteries rather than having to plug the camera into a socket, but I guess it would probably go through batteries quite quickly.
