Shop online for less this summer

When I was growing up, my sister and I would spend months saving up all of our pocket money so that we could go on a shopping spree in our local town centre. We loved it so much that it pretty much turned into an annual thing. We’d treat ourselves to some new clothes, perhaps some makeup and most likely a McDonalds too! We used to get around £3.50 a week in pocket money, so we’d save up until we both had around £100 each. On average this would take us approximately seven months! Our parents would chip in to… [Read More]

I Will Never Not Ever Eat a Tomato Book Review

Charlie and Lola is a great animated children’s TV show. My children enjoy it and so do I. It’s one of those shows that comes on the TV and I don’t mind sitting there watching it.  I’ve written previously about a Charlie and Lola Book and to be honest it wasn’t a great review. The book entitled, ‘I am too absolutely small for school’ just didn’t do anything for me or my children. As a result it kind of put me off buying any more Charlie and Lola Books.  However since receiving the ‘I Will Never Not Ever Eat a Tomato’ Book my… [Read More]

Thornhill Farm Shop

Can you believe that I’ve lived five minutes away from Thornhill Farm Shop all of my life, yet I’d never been there until recently! I only heard about it a few weeks ago and when one of my friends told me on the weekend that she was there, I quickly put the kids in the car and joined her! It was a lovely, sunny day so it seemed perfect to go out and explore the wonders that Thornhill Farm Shop has to offer as oppose to staying cooped up indoors watching Disney DVDs! Although I do love a good Disney… [Read More]

How to save money on everyday items

From clothes to furniture and food, it seems as though no-one is paying full price for anything anymore. With the rise of extreme couponing in the UK it’s no wonder that we feel as though we need more for our money. It is possible to get the things you need for less and here are a few tips on just how to do that. 1. The next time you visit your local supermarket to do your food shop you may want to allow some extra time. I don’t mean so that you can look at every deal in the shop… [Read More]

Introducing Pisamonas, The Online Shoe Shop to the UK

Buying shoes for children, especially if you have more than one child, can be expensive, but that needn’t always be the case.  New to the UK, Pisamonas are an online children’s shoe store who specialise in high quality kids footwear at the best prices you can find! The prices are low, but the quality is high!  Pisamonas don’t want to make you chose between quality and price. They know you deserve both! When I’ve bought shoes for my twins previously I usually spend on average around £60 for one pair of shoes each. The thing is children’s feet grow so… [Read More]

Bigjigs Village Shop and Accessories Review

If you’ve been following me on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram then you’ll probably know by now that for Christmas we bought our twins the Bigjigs Village Shop, along with some of the accessories to go with it.   I’m a huge fan of Bigjigs! I love all of their products, because they’re always fantastic quality, good value for money and they’re so simple with no batteries required, which is great because it really helps toddlers to play and use their imaginations.  I thought I’d write a review of the Bigjigs Village Shop along with some of the items that we bought to… [Read More]

Morrisons Challenge

We were recently sent £80.00 worth of vouchers to spend in-store at Morrisons last Bank Holiday weekend. The theme was about Bank Holiday family meals. Morrisions have recently announced that they have made some changes to their pricing and brand.  Morrisons said: “…we’ve cut the prices on over a thousand of your favourite products. Not temporary reductions or supermarket smoke and mirrors, these are new every day low prices on the things you buy every week. So you’ll notice the difference with every shop.” We usually do our weekly food shop at ASDA and top up on a few bits… [Read More]
