10 Things That Make Me Happy

I was recently tagged in the 10 Things That Make Me Happy tag by Bound For Somewhere. You can read her post here. So without further ado, and in no particular order here are 10 things that make me happy. 1. My husband and children. Yes, it’s a cliche and it’s the ‘obvious answer’ that most likely everyone will say, but it’s true. Without these crazies, I’d actually be pretty unhappy. Hubby drives me crazy with his constant moving of things around and don’t even get me started on his snoring, but I do love him and he does make… [Read More]

My Dream Pet with Petplan

We’ve teamed up with Petplan for their exciting new campaign which asks children to put their artistic skills to the test by drawing their dream pet. Boston Chicken House with Run Review

Back in January we introduced a new member to our family. A pet rabbit called Snuggles. Snuggles was around four months old when he joined us, and he’s well and truly settled into our family. The girls first pet

I’ve always been an animal lover. When I was a child, my sister and I had many pets. Hamsters, rabbits, numerous cats and even ducks! Before our girls were born, my husband and I had two kittens. We called them Dragon and Fable. It’s rather strange as their names definitely suited them. Dragon was fierce and would often attack Fable, who was a soft, gentle and cuddly cat. When my husband and I found out that we were pregnant with twins, we made the decision to re-home the cats. It was heartbreaking, but having Two house cats and two babies… [Read More]

Melissa and Doug Slice and Bake Christmas Cookie Set Review

Christmas is fast approaching. With just a few weeks to go until the big day, it’s that time of year when parents start thinking about what to buy their toddlers for Christmas. Our twins are almost three years old and they’re really into pretend play. Like most children their favourite thing to do is pretend to cook using their play kitchen. They’ll quite happily spend all day putting their toy vegetables into saucepans and pretend to cook them. We’ll incorporate some play dough and make spaghetti and meatballs with them too! To most children as long a toy doesn’t break… [Read More]
