Last year I took R and M on regular trips to the farm.
They love the freedom they have to run around the fields independently, feed the animals and play in the park.
I took the girls on their trip to the farm of 2015 a few weeks ago.
The farm I go to is
Cefn Mably Farm Park. Entry was £12.50 for me and the girls. This included one bag of animal feed too.
One of my favourite parts of going to the farm is the area in which you can hold and stroke the animals.
I asked R and M if they wanted a guinea pig or rabbit. M said that she wanted a guinea pig so one of the workers placed a guinea pig on my lap and gave the girls a brush each.
They were fascinated by its twitchy nose, long claws and how it’s fur felt!
Next up we held a rabbit. The fluffiest rabbit I’ve ever seen with beautiful red eyes!
I think I enjoyed stroking the rabbit more than the girls!
They did like the rabbits long ears though!
Next we wandered out into the open farm and the girls went straight over to the tractor ride on toys.
They’re great to have around the farm, but the girls aren’t quite old enough to know how to pedal them.
They loved playing in the park and looking at the animals.
We fed some goats and sheep too!
It took us about an hour to walk half way around so I decided it’d be a good time to stop and have a picnic.
A little duck was waddling around by the picnic bench so the girls threw some food down for it!
After food we wandered around the other half of the farm then the girls played in the other park on the farm before going inside to play in the soft play area for a bit.
Overall we had a great day! The weather was warm and sunny, and I can’t wait to go again!

It seemed that you are all having fun especially the kids… such a good idea to bring the kids to! By the way, your photos are beautiful so as your little twins!
