My Sewing Project: My Little Pony Unicorn Toy!

M has become rather obsessed with unicorns lately! I think it has something to do with her watching Barbie and the Secret Door as there are unicorns in it!

She’s also into My Little Pony and is always asking for it on the TV! Thanks Netflix!

With this in mind I decided to make M a unicorn toy using a Dolls and Daydreams pattern. Inspired by My Little Pony, I found some super cute fabric online that was perfect for the unicorns body!

I’ve made a number of toys using the Dolls and Daydreams patterns. They’re all been super easy to follow, and I’ve learnt so much with each toy I’ve made.

The unicorn toy has been on my wishlist a while so it’s fair to say I was very much looking forward to making this one!

I’m so pleased with how she turned out and I’m glad to say that M absolutely loves her too!

I started Twin Mummy and Daddy in 2012.  

Over time Twin Mummy and Daddy has gone from strength to strength. I write about our family life, my love for running and our passion for adventure and travel.  

We’ve also started living a more eco-friendly life. As such I also write about our zero waste journey in a bid to encourage others to think about the impact they have on the environment.

I’m a keen runner and in April 2019 I ran the London Marathon for an amazing charity called WellChild. It’s one of my biggest achievements to date. I raised over £2,000 for the charity and learnt so much along the way.

This year we’re passionate about spending time outdoors. We’ll be sharing our travel, days out and camping adventures right here on Twin Mummy and Daddy.
