My Favourite Outdoor Toys for Winter
Winter can often be a time when families retreat to the warmth of their living rooms and forget that their garden exists, but that needn’t be the case.
Just because it’s a bit cold and damp doesn’t mean you should stay indoors. Getting outdoors in winter can be just as much fun as doing so in the summer.
Here are few of my favourite outdoor toys for winter.
Scooters are lots of fun and a great alternative to squashing the kids into a car to pop to the shops. That also goes for roller-skates too! If you’re just going to the postbox to post a letter, to the shops to get some milk or to the park, then scooters, bikes and roller-skates can make it a bit more fun for the kids!
Why not bring a kite or football with you too?
I love going for a walk down our road with the girls wagons in tow. They love taking their dolls with them for a walk!
If you don’t want to go far then a simple slide in your garden, bat and ball or kids wheelbarrow are great to keep kids entertained and give them some fresh air too!
