Meet Twin Daddy

June 25, 2014

I’ve been blogging for almost two years now and I realised a little while ago that I haven’t actually written a post about my husband!

Throughout this blog I refer to him as Twin Daddy, but his real name is Nigel or Nige as I call him.

I do have an about page on my blog, but that’s more about us as a family.

My husband and I first met when I was 17 years old. I was working in a shop just down the road from where I used to live and Nige happened to be driving past one day.

Our eyes met at the exact same time and we’ve been together ever since!

Nige is a painter and decorator. Actually, he does more than just painting and decorating, but overall that’s probably the most accurate description of what he does.

I worry about him at whilst he is at work. He’s often high up ladders painting or cleaning someone’s gutters out and it makes me a little anxious when I think about what accidents could happen.

He has had a work accident and it wasn’t very pleasant. He was high up some ladders one day when he fell and landed on the concrete below.

After a visit to the local accident and emergency room we found out that he’d cracked a number of ribs.

The doctor advised him to take it easy for a while, but men being men I guess and Nige decided to ignore that advice and continue working!

Needless to say he ended up taking more time off than he needed compared to the amount he would have needed off if he’d just listened to the Doctor in the first place!

I’m starting to think we should invest in an on site personal claims company such as Leo Claims!

Anyway..!

We’ve been together for 10 years now and we’ve been married for just over two years.

When he’s not working or looking after our twins, he can be found doing something. Anything, in fact!

He just doesn’t sit still – unless on his Xbox which isn’t very often since the arrival of our twins over two years ago!

He loves football, Hollister shorts and mixed grills!

So that’s a brief summary of my hubby!
