Lovably Me Farm Stamp Set Review and Competition

February 13, 2014
Finding new ways to entertain your children can be quite difficult. I really enjoy doing messy, crafty and creative activities with our twins. I have a craft box which is filled with empty yoghurt pots, lids, paint, foam stickers and many other things.
We’ve even built a castle out of cardboard! That was one of my favourite activities to date! I’m not sure who enjoyed it the most, me or our girls!
When I was recently sent a Farm Stamp Set from the lovely people over at Lovably Me, I was really looking forward to letting our girls loose with it!

This stamp set features a range of different farm animals, from cows to horses, rabbits and donkeys to birds and pigs! It also has farm yard buildings and machines including a tractor, barn and trailer. It even has hedges, trees and apples so you really can create a fantastic farmyard picture.
The stamps are all wooden and have a picture on one side of what each stamp is. It’s suitable for children of all ages although the box does recommend it’s aimed at children over the age of 3.
It comes with one ink pad with two colours – blue and red. As a twin mummy I personally would have liked it if this set came two separate ink pads just to prevent the inevitable fighting over the one ink pad, but that’s just me!
I laid down some paper on the floor and showed R and M what to do and before I knew it they were stamping everything in sight, including themselves and they absolutely loved it!

The ink is washable so it was really easy to clean it off hands and faces with a wet wipe.

Overall this is a great stamp set and I haven’t got a bad thing to say about it. It costs just £15.00 and I think it would make a lovely gift.
