Lego Dream House

August 22, 2015
We were recently sent some Lego to help us build our dream house as part of a competition being run by Ocean Finance.
Our twins are three and a half years old and absolutely love playing with Lego. They have a few Lego sets already such as a farm and a train set too.
I asked them to build a house using their Lego and with a little help from their big brother, this is what they came up with.
As you can see the house is multi-coloured to help make it stand out!
The driveway is adorned with flowers and a little pet cat sits patiently waiting for us to return home!
To the side of the house there is a drive for our super cool Lego car and on the other side of the house an animal paddock can be found with a cow and a horse living in harmony with another!

Both of our girls love farms so it’s only natural that the house also has a farmyard behind it. With a mixture of chickens, goats, cows and horses the farm is open to the public for animal petting and feeding!
It was really interesting listening and watching them talk about what they wanted in their dream house too!
Apparently the bedroom has to have a slide in it and the living room would be ‘cool’ with a swimming pool in it!
I put in my request for an in-house chef too!
So that’s our dream house! Fingers crossed we do well in the competition!
For the purpose of this post we were sent one box of lego.

Ooh this looks great! What a fantastic idea – unfortunately my three year old is still at the 'build a big tower' stage of construction so our dream house would look something akin to Rapunzel's tower. But this is super – and yes, a swimming pool in the living room would be so 'cool'!

Hi Becky, thanks for your comment! Thank you! Rapunzel's tower would be a pretty cool dream house – as long as it had a lift or escalator as my hair is in now way strong or long enough to haul people up to the top! x
