Frilly Lily Dolls Clothes Review

October 4, 2015

Like most young children, our girls love their baby dolls. They enjoy playing with them and acting our various scenarios with them.

They’ll cuddle them, make them a bed out of pillows and blankets, pretend to change their nappies and even give them a bottle of milk. This type of pretend play is great for developing children’s cognitive development.

Over the past few weeks we’ve been reviewing some wonderful dolls clothes from Frilly Lily.

Frilly Lily was started by mum of four, Bridget. Like many mums she wanted a job that meant she could be at home with her children as they grew up.

Frilly Lily not only sells a gorgeous range of dolls clothes, they also offer some fantastic dolls and accessories.

We were sent:

Navy Bunny Dress. £10

This cute little dolls dress has a white bunny pattern on a navy cotton background, a peter pan collar and white lace trim to the little puffed sleeves. The shoes below also match this dress and for twin dolls Frilly Lily also have a matching boys romper suit.

This dress is available in three sizes to suit different size dolls. You can choose from my first baby which is for dolls 12-14″ / 30-36cm, small for dolls 14-18″ / 35-45cm, medium for dolls 18-20″ / 45-50cm.

This dress is really good quality. Our girls have had clothes for their dolls before, but they’ve fallen apart and torn so easily. This dress is durable and will last a very long time making them perfect for hours of play!

Navy Bunny Romper Suit. £9.00

This cute little bunny romper suit matches the dress perfectly. It has the same cute white bunny pattern, a little collar and four miniature buttons to the front.

I love the Frilly Lily range has matching items and the shoes that match this are superb!

Navy Bunny Shoes. £6.00

These delightful little shoes match the dress above. They have a cute bunny print, for boy and girl dolls. They fasten up with velcro pretty easily so toddlers won’t struggle doing them up themselves. Like the dress they’re superb quality and will last the test of time.

They’re available in three sizes, small 6 x 3cm for dolls such as 43cm Baby Born, medium 7.2 x 3.3cm for dolls such as American Girl Doll, and Design a Friend, large 8.2 x 4.2  cm for dolls such as 46cm Baby Annabell.

Blue and Pink Spotty Babygrow. £8.50 each.

How cute are these babygrows! I love absolutely adore them! They’re made from super soft brushed cotton with satin trim ribbon.

These baby grows are available in three sizes to suit different size dolls. You can choose from my first baby which is for dolls 12-14″ / 30-36cm, small for dolls 14-18″ / 35-45cm, medium for dolls 18-20″ / 45-50cm.

Fairy Fabric Nappies & Giraffe Fabric Nappies. £5.50 each.

These are my favourite! They’re so cute to look at and they’re so well made! Children will enjoy playing with these and pretending to change their dolls nappies.

They’re made with a soft brushed cotton outer layer and a terry towelling lining. Really great value for money!

These are available in two sizes. Small for dolls 14-18″ / 35-45cm and medium for dolls 18-20″ / 45-50cm.

Pink & Blue Fleece Jacket Set. £6.50 each.

I have to say that all of the dolls clothes we were sent from Frilly Lily are excellent quality. They’re so good that you could actually put them on a real baby – if you could find a baby small enough! Although I think M would have been small enough when she was born as she was just 2b11!

These fleece sets are so soft to touch which makes them great for cuddling! The sets come with a jacket, hat and mittens! Each set features gingham bows.

On the Dolls!

Our girls have a range of dolls from Baby Borns to Tiny Tears. Their Baby Born dolls do go in the bath with our girls and are now so full of water that I just couldn’t get all of the water out to try these on them so I used their tiny tears dolls instead and as you can see they fit the dolls really well!

I’m so impressed with all of the dolls clothes that we were sent. They’re all tremendous quality and I love the little shoes!

For the purpose of this review we were sent the above items. All views and opinions are 100% my own.

Such cute clothes. I remember having dolls when I was a child and dressing them up. My Sindy had a wedding dress wish I loved so much.
