Fairy Picnic Basket Review

April 2, 2018

With the Easter holidays in full swing, we’ve been enjoying Easter egg hunts, Easter themed crafts and some lovely days out.

On the days where the weather doesn’t allow us to go out though, we’ve been having lots of fun playing indoors and making up games.

We were recently two lovely fairy picnic basket toy sets rom My Fairy Garden UK. It comes with everything Fairy Blossom and her bunny friend need to enjoy a lovely picnic indoors or out in the garden!

The cute little picnic basket doubles up as a home for Fairy Blossom and her bunny friend, plus it can be used as a basket to store all of the pieces that come with this set.

Included in this set you’ll find:

  • Fairy Blossom and her bunny friend
  • Picnic blanket
  • Cake stand with two cakes
  • Tea pot
  • 2 x cup and saucer

The picnic basket opens up via the door on the front, and also via the roof which makes it easy to put everything back inside for safe keeping.

It’s made of plastic and is very durable. I love how brightly coloured it is!

Our girls are six years old and have had so much fun playing with these! R enjoys setting the picnic up by placing the pieces onto it.

M enjoys doing this too and together, R and M, like to think up different scenarios and have their fairies visit one another in their ‘homes’ for a picnic, play and sleep over!

Fairy Blossom is super cute with her delicate looking purple wings, pink dress and green belt, and hair accessory. Positioned in a seated position she can easily sit without falling over. Her bunny friend also stands without falling over, and is super cute too.

The smaller accessories such as the cakes, tea pots and saucers are also very well made and colourful, plus the cute pink picnic blanket is a lovely added addition to this set.

Overall, we really like this play set. Our girls have had so much fun playing with them, using their imaginations to make up different stories and visit their fairy friends!

For the purpose of this review we were sent two fairy picnic baskets. All views and opinions are 100% my own.
