Collins Academic Leadership Diary Review
I love diaries. I have a few of them and they all serve me different purposes.
One is a diary that I use to write about my everyday life with my husband and twin girls. It’s a way of me recording important milestones and happy memories with the hope that one day when I’m no longer here, it will make a good read for my children. A way for them to know more about their mum and also about themselves when they were children.
My other diary I use to keep track of my blog. Which posts are due to go out when etc. It’s a handy way to stay on top of things and be organised.
My third diary is my Collins Academic Leadership Diary. I was kindly sent this diary to review by Collins and I already know what I’ll be using it for. My current diary that I use to organise my blog ends the first week of August so this one will be a continuation of my old one. I’ll use it to organise and schedule my blog posts, but as it’s bigger which means there is more room to write I’ll also be using it to keep a note of my to-do lists.
I have a few to-do lists. One for my blog. One for appointments for me and one for the girls appointments (starting nursery, doctors’ appointments, play dates etc) and I also have one which lists important things such as when my car tax and mot is due.
One of the main things that I really like about the Collins Academic Leadership Diary is that it’s durable. That might sound like an odd for someone to say about a diary, but when you have toddlers who like to draw and get their hands on pretty much everything they can, it’s an important quality for a diary to have!
The front cover is both flexible and durable, plus inside it has a unique concealed wire binding.
This is a mid-year diary which means it runs from July 2015 to July 2016. I like mid-year diaries because it means it will last a year. Imagine if they didn’t exist. You’d have to buy a diary in June that started six months ago and only has six months left. You’d already have waster half of it before you’d even used it!
Another feature that I like about this diary is that is has a monthly tabbing system which means you can easily flick between the months without having to rifle through all the pages. It also includes UK holidays and festivals, plus it has financial summary pages and timetables.
Overall, I’m very pleased with this diary and would highly recommend it.
