Bath Christmas Market 2018

Last weekend, myself and a few friends spent the weekend in Bath. We booked to go early in the year so that we could explore the Christmas markets, and we weren’t disappointed. This was my first trip to Bath and I have to say that it’s such a beautiful place. I really can’t wait to go back there again. The Bath Christmas Market started on the 22nd November and the last day is the 9th December. It’s a shame that it’s not on a little longer, but if you do get the chance to go before it finishes, I highly… [Read More]

Review: Playmobil Children’s Playground

When I look back at my childhood, I always have this one memory of my sister and I playing with a children’s playground set. I can’t remember what make it was, but I do remember we had so much fun playing with it. Quite often when my girls and I go shopping they like to look at the toys, and Playmobil is one brand they’re always drawn towards. We’ve never owned any Playmobil toys before so when Smyths Toys kindly sent us a Playmobil Children’s Playground to review I was keen to see what it was like, as were our twin… [Read More]

Cardiff’s Winter Wonderland Review

On Thursday evening my family and I were invited to review Cardiff’s Winter Winterland. We’ve been taking our twin girls ice skating there every year for the past year, so we were very excited to have the chance to go again. In return for this review we were gifted food, ride tokens and an ice skating session. The ice skating is usually one of the main attractions for us, but this year the funfair really stood out. There seemed to be a lot more rides this year, and the big wheel that’s usually there was replaced with an epic 90ft… [Read More]

Review: WATCHU GPS Smart Watch for Kids

As a parent we all want what’s best for our children. At just six years old, our twin girls have been asking my husband and I at what age can they get a mobile phone. I usually just say when they’re in high school. I think I was around 12 years old when I got my first mobile phone. It didn’t do much other than make phone calls and send text messages, but mobile phones nowadays can do so much. It’s actually pretty scary. I worry about my children having access to social media and various websites which are all… [Read More]
