The Hoover Upright 300 Vacuum Cleaner, Pets (HU300) is a lightweight, steerable upright hoover vacuum that’s specifically designed with pets in mind. As a rabbit owner, I know just how hard it can be to pick up all those clumps of fur that having a pet involves.

First and foremost though, the Hoover Upright 300 Vacuum Cleaner, Pets is exceptionally lightweight. It makes carrying it a breeze. It weighs less than 5kg and has an 80 degree steerable angle making taking corner and getting up close to the skirting boards and walls really easy. You’ll also notice no loss of suction with its sustained air performance using multi-cyclonic technology. For an upright vacuum cleaner, it’s also pretty compact. Plus, I really like the blue colour!

The Hoover Upright 300 Vacuum Cleaner, Pets is a very versatile vacuum cleaner. Whether you have carpets, hard flooring or both, the Hoover Upright 300 Vacuum Cleaner, Pets is perfect for both. For carpets just slide the slider to the ‘carpet’ setting and push the button next to the power button to turn the brush bar on.

If you need to move from carpet to hard floor, simply slide the slider to the ‘hard floor’ setting and turn the brush bar off again. It really is that simple!

The vacuum cleaner is bagless with a convenient and hygienic one-touch system to empty the dust out quickly without getting your hands dirty. Taking of dust, the Hoover Upright 300 Vacuum Cleaner, Pets is ideal for allergy sufferers. It has a washable H13 HEPA filter which traps allergens and helps purify the air in your home. One of my favourite things about the Hoover Upright 300 Vacuum Cleaner, Pets is that it’s more than just a vacuum cleaner. It has handy tools conveniently stored on board including a 3-in-1 dusting brush, upholstery and crevice tool for above floor cleaning. There’s also a pets motorised mini turbo brush.

More times that I care to mention, have I sat on the floor and scraped the carpet over and over with my fingers to try and get all the fur up. Not to mention, the fur on our sofa too. The mini turbo brush helps remove stubborn pet hairs from cushions, sofas and carpets. The rotating bristles penetrate deeply into the fabric to loosen the fur.

The handle of the Hoover Upright 300 Vacuum Cleaner, Pets is easily detachable so that you can use it along with the onboard tools. This also makes reaching hard to get to areas a lot easier to access. For example, behind our rabbits pen, I’ll often find bits of hay and fur. Using the long handle and the 3-in-1 tool makes cleaning this up quick and easy.

Overall, I am very impressed by the Hoover Upright 300 Vacuum Cleaner. It’s lightweight, compact and really easy to steer. The pets motorised mini turbo brush is powerful and has great suction for those stubborn pet hairs and the 3-in-1 tool making cleaning those hard to reach areas a breeze.
