Bonnie Marcus Tri-Fold Shoes Notebook Review

March 5, 2014
I love stationary. It doesn’t matter if it’s a notebook, pen, diary or folder, chances are I will love it. I don’t know what it is about opening up a new, fresh page of a notebook that I find satisfying but I love it!
When I was in school and I was coming to the end of my school book, I would deliberately rip out the last few pages, just so I could have a new one quicker!
When I was asked recently to review some of the new range of stationary available by Bonnie Marcus I was thrilled.
Bonnie Marcus, a busy mother of three and former high-end New York events planner, turned her skills to designing and has created a range of practical yet fashionable cook books, food journals and notebooks, which have taken the US by storm.
Her stylish stationary, available in the UK this Spring, has found her a host of celebrity fans including Cindy Crawford, Brooke Shields, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Eva Longoria, Marcia Cross and many others.
In the US, Bonnie has been recognised as a pioneer for women in business. She won the prestigious American Express ‘Make Mine a Million Dollar Business contest’ for women entrepreneurs and serves as the small business spokesperson for the Bank of America as well.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of all her products are donated to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation and other organisations promoting breast cancer awareness.
I chose to review the Tri-Fold Shoes Notebook for a number of reasons.

I enjoy writing. Whether it be online, in a diary or a notebook, there is something therapeutic about getting what’s in my head out and down on paper.
The cover of this notebook is feminine, grown up and has a hint of sophistication about it. I love the mix of colours used and the quote along the top that reads:
With a fabulous pair of shoes, I can conquer anything
The notebook has an elasticated strap to keep it closed.
When you open this product, you’ll soon find out that it is much more than just a notebook. It’s a cute and clever organiser too. It has an 80 page notepad, 8 sticky notepads and also has a handy storage pocket.
The sticky notepads are all beautifully designed, just like the notepad and front cover.
I think it would be great if there was a small pen included, just so you don’t have to go rummaging through your handbag for one, but other than that this is a great little notebook.
It’s available for just £10 from Parragon.
For the purpose of this review I was sent one Bonnie Marcus notebook to review.
