Why I think R and M are lucky to have their daddy

This post is dedicate to my wonderful husband and father of my children, Nigel.

R and M are so lucky to have you as a dad. Yes, you’re grumpy first thing in the morning, but I love how you lovingly lay their breakfast bowls out the night before so that they’re ready for them first thing in the morning. You do this every night without fail.
I love watching you play with them and seeing how much you enjoy it. Your love for them never ceases to amaze me. They both love you so much and enjoy the time that you spend with them.
You’re so dedicated towards them both and I love how they’ll only sleep with you at night! I know M has done so for a while now, but R has started coming into our room at night time and climbing in with you. I think you’re their security blanket! It doesn’t bother you at all being squashed between two three year olds all night, every night! Unlike me! I love my sleep!

 

Having said that you always get up with them in the mornings without hesitation. You never moan about it, you just do it.
I love how even though the trampoline makes you feel sick, you still get on it with them both!
I love how R always asks for you to play with her tree house when you come home from work. I think she does this so that she knows you’re coming home. Bless her!
I love how R says that she’s going to paint houses like you when she’s older!

I love how M will only do ‘eyes and nose’ with you!

You’re such a wonderful dad and I know you’d do anything for them.

I started Twin Mummy and Daddy in 2012.  

Over time Twin Mummy and Daddy has gone from strength to strength. I write about our family life, my love for running and our passion for adventure and travel.  

We’ve also started living a more eco-friendly life. As such I also write about our zero waste journey in a bid to encourage others to think about the impact they have on the environment.

I’m a keen runner and in April 2019 I ran the London Marathon for an amazing charity called WellChild. It’s one of my biggest achievements to date. I raised over £2,000 for the charity and learnt so much along the way.

This year we’re passionate about spending time outdoors. We’ll be sharing our travel, days out and camping adventures right here on Twin Mummy and Daddy.
