Like many people I love a bit of stationery.
I don’t know why or exactly what it is that I find so interesting about it, but it’s fair to say I own quite a bit of stationery.
I was recently contacted by Viking to review some of their products.
Viking are a large office supplies retailer who sell everything from stationery and craft supplies to electronics and furniture.
I chose the following items to review:
Mister Maker Doodle Drawers
BIC Crystal Pen for Her (Black)
Office Depot Presentation Folder
Pukka Reporters Pad (Black) Set of 3 Sidewalk Chalk
Crayola Anti-dust White Chalk
Berol Colourfine Colouring Pens
As a mum to twin girls, I am always looking for different way to keep them entertained. This is one of the main reasons why I chose the Mister Maker Doodle Drawers and I’m pleased to say they don’t dissapoint!
For £14.49 I think this product is great value for money and a must have for all Mummy’s and Daddy’s!
Our girls have got these drawers out every day and we’ve made some fantastic things using the items inside.
It’s kept our girls entertained and occupied for hours!
Some of the things you can exect to find inside are pom-poms, lolly sticks, pipe cleaners, glue stick, cardboard, bells, beads and so much more!
So far we’ve used our imaginations to create fairy wands:
Cards and a flower for the garden
The possibilities are endless!
The only thing I feel that this product could do with is a small leaflet or booklet with a few ideas in of what you can make using the items inside.
Other than that, we love it!
Moving on and the other two products I chose for our girls is the sidewalk chalk and the Crayola chalk.
Like most children our girls have coloured pencils and crayons, but chalk wasn’t something that had crossed my mind until I saw them on the Viking website.
I bought a chalkboard each for our girls online and we took the opportunity one sunny day, to take them outdoors.
They loved being able to draw on the pavement with all the different coloured chalk and on rainier days, we can use the Crayola chalks on our chalkboards.
So that was what I chose for our girls, but I also chose a few things myself and my husband.
As a blogger I have never ending pieces of paper lying around with to-do lists on so I chose the Pukka reporters pads and BIC Crystal pens.
The Pukka pads are small enough to fit into my hand bag and the pens write really smoothly.
I also chose some Berol colourfine colouring pens so that I can write in the photo albums I am putting together for our twins.
Up until now I had been using gel pens that I bought in the supermarket, but they run out really quickly.
The Berol colouring pens are great as they last ages and even when using them to colour in pictures I had drawn, they didn’t fade.
Overall, I am very pleased with the service and products received from Viking.
I received the items I ordered the next day and they were well packaged to avoid damage.
