Things I’ve learnt since becoming a parent
Being a parent is tough. How many times have you heard that being bandied around! Yes, it’s tough, like so many other things in life, but it’s also lots of fun! Parenthood is a huge learning curve. You’ll make lots of mistakes and cry more times than you’ll ever admit that you did, but when it comes down to it, you’ll do anything for your children.
Here are a few things I’ve learnt since becoming a parent.
1. I don’t know if it’s an old wives tale, but it really does work. For us anyway. When one of the girls has a bad night time cough, we apply vix to their feet and then pop some socks on it. It really does help to ease the cough. However, whatever you do don’t touch your eyes straight after applying it! I learnt this the hard way and very watery eyes as a result!
8. Never trust your child with a secret! They’ll find the most inopportune to tell the world!

This is sweet! My sister would love this post, as she totally gets the thing about having no concept of being busy. X

I've heard about the tip with Vix, and you are right, never trust your child with a secret! I think there is a story to tell there…
