The Tiger Who Came to Tea Book Review
If you haven’t heard of this book then you must be living on another planet because it is one of the most popular children’s books of all time!
This classic story tells the tale of Sophie and her extraordinary tea-time guest. Whilst sitting with her mum in the kitchen the doorbell rings. They wonder who it could possibly be as they aren’t expecting anyone. It can’t be daddy because has his keys and it can’t be the milkman because it’s not his usual day.
When they open the door they certainly get a surprise when faced with a big, furry, stripy tiger!
This book is beautifully illustrated and is sure to delight children of all ages time and again. The tiger is clearly hungry as he drinks all of the tea and eats all of the food. He even drinks all of the water from the tap so poor Sophia can’t even have a bath!
The very next day Sophie and her mum buy some tiger food in the shop just in case the tiger decides to visit again, but he never does.
This really is a classic childhood book and when my children ask me to read it over and over again, I never get bored of it!

This was my little brothers favourite story when he was young. I use to read it to him all the time (im 7 yrs older). Its great that a new generation of kids are growing tonlove the story too xx #bestandworst
