The Joy of Online Shopping
As a busy mum I find it hard to juggle my time between working part time two days a week, working on my blog, caring for our girls and doing everything else in between. That’s why I find online shopping such a big help when it comes to certain activities.
Before my children were born, and even in the early days after their birth, my husband and I would always go into our local supermarket to do our food shop. We swore blind that we’d never resort to doing it online, but as our girls grew older and more impatient, online food shopping was a blessing!
It meant I didn’t have to drag two bored children around the supermarkets. Instead I could chose what I wanted online, which also meant I could spend a bit more time when the girls were in bed to really think about what we were buying which saves us quite a bit of money. I find that when I go in store I tend to impulse buy. There’s no chance of me doing that online!

Of course it’s not just my food shopping that I do online though. The majority of the Christmas gifts I bought for my friends and family were bought online. It’s just really easy, convenient, time-saving and can often mean that I save a few pennies here and there. I also like that I can chose when my items are delivered so I can opt for a time that suits us all.
I also tend to buy my clothes online, as well as the girls clothes. Children’s fashion clothing online has more choice. When I go into a clothes shop, I find I’m quite limited in the choices I have, but by shopping online I find there’s more variety to chose from.
I remember when I was little we didn’t really use the internet that much. We’d just use it to write a word document or to play a game from a floppy disk! Who would have guessed how big the internet would have become back then and how much it’s changed our lives!
