Tessera 5 Cube Storage Unit Review from Aspace

I love storage. I know that sounds a bit odd, but I really do! To me good storage is a must have in any household with small children.

Being able to store toys away is an essential for me! I hate looking at a room which has toys piled up high in every nook and cranny!

With Christmas coming, I was planning on investing in some more storage so, when Aspace invited me to review something from their fantastic range, I chose the Tessera 5 Cube Storage Unit.

This storage unit costs £185 and is available in the following colours: White, Yellow, Royal Blue, Fuchsia, Grey, Water Green, Black, Tulip or Lilac. I went for white as it matches the other white units in my living room.

The thing that I love about this unit is that it looks modern, simple and fresh. The crispness of the white and the simple design is perfect for any living room. If we decided to repaint or change the colour theme of our room, this unit would still fit in nicely.

As per the name of this unit it has five backless storage cubby holes. These are all of a good size meaning you can fit plenty of things in. Whether it be books, DVDs or in our case, come Christmas, toys!

This unit comes with optional feet to give added height. You can either lay the unit horizontally or vertically.

I wish I had room to lay it horizontally and I’d love to add a padded cushion on top for our girls to sit on, but we don’t have the room so we’ve placed it vertically in our front room!

This unit is heavy! You will need someone to carry it with, but it was really easy for my husband to put together by himself!

He did it in around half hour. The instructions were easy to follow and all of the pieces required were included. There’s also a piece included for you to attach it to the wall. The last thing we want is for one of our girls to try climbing it and for it to come tumbling down on top of them.

This unit is made from melamine-faced composites. It’s a really strong, safe, sturdy and beautifully contemporary storage solution.

Overall, I love this unit. It looks good. It’s strong and durable, plus it’s easy to put together. The unit measures 177cm (h) x 42cm (w). It’s also good to know that Aspace may be able to arrange an assembly service for you depending on your location. When I reviewed the Fairford Wardrobe from the, their delivery drivers put it together for us and took all the packaging away which was great!
