Results with Lucy: Six Weeks In

I’m now around six weeks into my Results with Lucy New Beginnings Programme. You can read my first post here. The New Beginnings Programme is as 13 week programme which consists of daily meal plans and workouts. This is the first time I’ve ever done a plan like this and I have to say that I’m really enjoying it for a number of reasons. The first reason is that I love being able to plan what I’m eating. Before starting this plan I’d often end up eating rubbish because I hadn’t planned my food for the week. I’d reach for… [Read More]

Results with Lucy: Intro Post!

I’ve blogged previously about wanting to lose weight. I always start off well by eating healthily and exercising regularly, but within the first 8 weeks seem to lose motivation. I think in order for me to be successful I need proper support in terms of knowing what I should and shouldn’t be eating, but also knowing what exercises are best for the areas that I want to target. Over the next three months I’ll be reviewing the Results with Lucy New Beginnings programme and I’m pretty excited. Before I go into any more detail about the plan here is my… [Read More]

Stress busting tips for travelling with toddlers!

Are we there yet? I’m bored! How many times have you heard this whilst travelling with your little ones. Growl with the animals book review

I love reading books to R and M. The older they’ve got, the more I’ve found myself reading to them. At the moment we’re reading books all about starting nursery as the girls are due to start part time in September. They have lots of books, but none of them are ‘noisy books’. Parragon Books recently sent us a noisy book called ‘Growl with the animals’.  It’s a fairly large board book that’s colourful and packed full of noisy animal fun!  There are buttons down the side of the book for toddlers to press. Each button has the picture of an animal… [Read More]

Bloggers – You need to read this! Interview with a PR/Digital Marketing Manager

Bethanie is a PR/Digital Marketing Manager in a creative search agency. She’s also a blogger and she lives in Newcastle. Interview What is your ideal blogger and what makes a blogger stand out and get noticed? An ideal blogger for me is someone who has a combination of what I believe are ‘good’ qualities.  The first is an up to date blog with a good balance of natural and sponsored content (same goes with banner ads). The second is being friendly, and time-aware. Third is passion for it – if I send you an email offering something for review, I’d… [Read More]

Most Played With Toys In Our Home

I like writing about the different ways in which our girls play. I really enjoy watching them using their imaginations to play. They like playing with their Bigjigs village shop. One will be the shop keeper and the other will be the customer. They like dressing up and acting our various roles and they really enjoy playing with their Happyland toys. Our twins are three years old so they’re pretty much into everything, however they do have some firm favourite toys that will get played with on a daily basis. I thought I’d share with you some of the most… [Read More]

How to survive and thrive with twins

Discovering that you’re having twins for the very first time can be quite a scary prospect for most expectant parents. For my husband and I though we knew as soon as we found out that we were pregnant that we would be having twins. This is because my we had a type of IVF known as ICSI. We were lucky that we had a total of nine embryos that fertilised successfully. After discussing our options we decided that we would freeze seven of those embryos and have two transferred back into me. I know it may sound a little conceited… [Read More]
