Spring Home Wishlist

With Spring well and truly here, it’s time to bring the dusters out and give our homes a spring clean! There’s nothing better and more cleansing for the soul, than a good sort out at home. De-cluttering, donating unused items to charity and refreshing the look of your home can really help to boost your mood. Spring is one of my most favourite times of the year. A time where new life enters the world, flowers start to open up and the local wildlife starts to reappear. Everything just seems so much more colourful in Spring! With that being said,… [Read More]

Our 2017 Family Bucket List

Spooky Spiders

I’ve seen a few of these bucket list posts floating around the internet so I thought I’d jump on the bandwagon and let you know our plans and hopes for 2017 too! 2016 was a pretty good for us. We had lots of lovely days out with friends and family, as well as a few school trips. We visited some new places such as Walnut Tree Farm, Castell Coch, and Greenmeadow Community Farm. We also took part in a few different activities such as a Spooky Spider Crafts at Pughs Garden Centre, and took part in their Butterfly Ball, and we… [Read More]

Summer Holiday Fashion Wish List

In just a few weeks time, we’ll be off on our summer holiday. Of course I have plenty of clothes in my wardrobe, but part of the fun in going on holiday is being able to buy new clothes. I don’t want to take too many things with me, but at the same time I need to have some essentials such as ‘throw away’ dresses for the day whilst we’re lounging by the pool, wandering around the shops or lazing on the beach. When it comes to night time I’d like have some more smarter clothes, but they need to… [Read More]

My 2016 UK Travel Bucket List

It’s no secret that as a family we enjoy a good holiday. We like to go abroad and have been to Menorca twice with our children in tow. Before our children were born, my husband and I holidayed in Marrakech, Valencia, Rome and many other fantastic destinations. 2016 may be slightly different though. We’re hoping to buy a house, which obviously isn’t going to be cheap and means sacrifices will need to be made. One of those sacrifices will more than likely be our holidays abroad. I wouldn’t not go on holiday, it just means we’d need to do things… [Read More]

30 By 30 Update

In 2013 I created my 30 by 30 list. It’s kind of like a bucket list, but rather than being a list of things to do before you die, it’s a list of 30 things to do by the time you’re 30. If you’d like to read my full list, click here. I thought I would write a little update on how things are going so far. Number one on my list is to buy a house and I’m pleased to say that as every day passes we’re one step closer to making this a reality. I hope to buy a house in… [Read More]

The Twins Christmas Wishlist

Image courtesy of Gualberto007/Freedigitalphotos.net With Christmas fast approaching I thought I would share with you what we are planning on buying our girls for their second Christmas. They will be 22 months old. Little Tikes Double Up Play Kitchen I’ve always wanted to buy a play kitchen for our girls. When I first took them to our local play group they both headed for the play kitchen! The Little Tikes Double Up Play Kitchen is the same one they have at ply group and although I originally wanted to buy the girls a wooden one, I’ve decided to opt for… [Read More]

30 by 30

I recently read a post by Emma who blogs at desserts and decoupage. The post was called 30 by 30 and it’s a list of things that you’d like to do by the time you’re 30. I really like the idea of this post and seeing as I’ll be 27 in January that leaves me with three years to achieve the following goals.  Here is my 30 by 30 list… 1. Buy a house 2. Loose weight (ideal goal weight 9st7) 3. Make our girls a quilt each for their beds out of their old baby clothes 4. Knit a scarf for… [Read More]

The Toadstool Christmas Wishlist

This is an entry into the ‘The Toadstool’s’ big Christmas blogger competition! It’s only September and I already have a wish list as long as my arm for our twin girls. It is their second Christmas this year and they will be 22 months old. Last Christmas was special because it was their first, but they were only 10 months old so they didn’t have a clue that it was Christmas! This year they won’t have a much better understanding of Christmas, but I have been talking to them about it in the run up. Mentioning Santa and his reindeers… [Read More]

One Day

My Elvis Calendar If you were to ask any of my family members or friends which one famous person, dead or alive, I would like to meet, they would answer with Elvis Presley. Ever since I first caught a glimpse of Elvis on TV I was hooked! It’s not just his looks, I love his voice and the way he moves on stage. I have seen a few blogs recently where people have shared their bucket lists and I thought to myself what would I include on mine. I would love to travel to America and go to Graceland. To actually… [Read More]
