Our Christmas 2014

I know I’m a little late in writing this, but I wanted to write about our Christmas day so that in years to come our girls may look back on this post and read it with joy! R and M will be three years old in February and that means that this year they are so much more aware of Christmas than they’ve ever been before. It’s both exciting for them, but also for us as parents because we can instil the magic of Christmas in them! In the run up to Christmas twin daddy and I had been talking… [Read More]

Octonauts and the Deep Sea Volcano Adventure comes to Cardiff!

Last month, my husband and I introduced our twins to the magical world of theatre by taking them to see ‘What the Ladybird Heard’ in our local theatre in Cardiff. They both enjoyed the show so much and ever since they’ve been asking to go back and watch it again! I’ve added the trailer for the show to my favourites on my you tube channel because they just love watching it! Next month we’ll be taking them to see their second theatre show – The Octonauts and the Deep Sea Volcano Adventure. If you’re not familiar already, the Octonauts is a children’s… [Read More]

Keeping the magic of Christmas alive

Yes, you read the title of this post correctly! I did mention the ‘C’ word in July! I know it’s over five months until Christmas, but that doesn’t stop me from thinking about it! Us parents have to be prepared! We have a lot of organising to do which mainly consists of saving up some money so that we can buy the little people in our lives some presents from Santa. All this thinking about Christmas has got me thinking about Santa! Our twins will be almost three years old come Christmas this year. Last Christmas we introduced them both… [Read More]

Saturday Night TV

When I was little I really used to look forward to Saturday Night TV. I used to wonder how the contestants on Blind Date could come up with quick, quirky answers to on the spot questions. I loved listening to Cilla Black’s recognisable voice and of course watching her make people’s dreams come true on Surprise Surprise was also a weekly highlight for me! I dreamt of being a contestant on Gladiators and I’m kind of embarrassed to admit this, but I actually had a little bit of a crush on Wolf! Oh no! It’s out there now! I’ve said it… [Read More]

Britmums Live! 2014 Overview and Video

This time last year I had just bought my early bird ticket to Britmums Live. I bought it quite hastily and did so not knowing if I actually would be going! It was a spur of the moment decision, but one that I’m very glad I made! Britmums Live is an annual blogging conference in Central London.  Hundreds of male and female bloggers from all over the country gather together to meet other bloggers, to network, meet brands, make friends and learn lots of new skills. It is with many thanks to my two wonderful sponsors, Optibac Probiotics and Snoob,… [Read More]

Britmums Live! 2014. Day Two

To read part one click here. I didn’t intend to write two posts about Brirmums Live. However, after writing all about day one and realising how much I had to say, I thought it was best to split the two days into two posts! Following a very busy and tiring first day, I wish I could say that I had a good nights sleep, but sadly I didn’t. I think a combination of being away from home and a busy day had something to do with this.  The room I was in was also quite noisy so that probably didn’t… [Read More]

A holiday during the World Cup

This is my entry to the AlFresco Holidays and Tots100 World Cup Challenge. My husband is obsessed with football! So are his children! They have all played football and one still plays now for an adults team. There’s no escaping it in our house! Our twins are two years old and whilst I have dreams of them going to dance or drama classes, my husband is thinking more along the lines of football! I don’t mind him watching football on the TV as I’ll usually find something else to do. Read a book or magazine, browse the internet or maybe… [Read More]
