SmartGlobe Adventure Review

Children have an instinctive need to learn about the world around them.

From asking questions to exploring their surroundings without fear, their want for learning is incredible.

A few months ago one of the girls older sisters went to Ghana with her university. She’s training to be a nurse so she went out to Uganda to help the children and families out there.

Our five year old twins were very curious and wanted to learn more about Uganda.

I showed them on a map where Uganda was and we talked about what animals live there etc. However, looking on a map that’s been printed on paper isn’t quite the same as exploring the world on a globe.

SmartGlobe Adventure is a unique and brilliant way for children to learn about the world. You can travel millions of miles without packing a bag!

SmartGlobe Adventure takes young explorers on a journey of planet Earth. It comes with a Smart Learning Pen shaped like a rocket that children can use to learn about continents, countries, geography, cultures, age-appropriate world topics and much more.

To start simply press the button on the pen to turn it on and then touch one of the categories on the base of the SmartGlobe.

Categories include continents, national anthem, weather, currency and much more! Children can also compare the population of two countries, as well as the area, time, distance, flying time and currently of two countries.

You can even play games by selecting a category under the ‘Find’ section. When selecting countries under the ‘Find’ section, the smart pen will name countries for children to find. To find them simply turn the SmartGlobe and then touch the country on the SmartGlobe with the smart pen.

The SmartGlobe can also teach children earth facts, amazing facts and tell them the latest world news. Plus it offers 19 English and six French language activities.

The SmartGlobe can also be removed from the stand and opened up to reveal the planets and inner layers of the earth. The inside of the SmartGlobe is also compatible with the smart pen so children can play more games and learn more facts about the solar system and the different layers that make up our planet.

In addition to this, you can use a tablet or smartphone with the dedicated app to unlock 3D Augmented Reality features, including landscapes, weather, animals, landmarks and even dinosaurs!

The SmartGlobe has so many different features to keep children busy for hours. They’ll have plenty of fun learning and playing games.

There’s also a drawer in the base unit which has a local map on with a more detailed look at the United Kingdom and Ireland. Again this is also compatible with the smart pen.

Overall, we’re very pleased with the SmartGlobe. It has lots of different features which makes learning fun. It’s well made and is a really well thought out product. 10/10.
