Smart Egg Labyrinth Puzzle Review

November 20, 2015
The Smart Egg is a game aimed at children aged six and over. Suitable for one player, it’s a test of your skill and speed.
These new, gorgeously designed collectible puzzles allow for an enjoyably perplexing experience, akin to Rubik’s Cubes.
Ideal for those who love a challenge, Smart Eggs come in various difficulties which will keep your kids and big kids alike engaged throughout Christmas day and into the New Year.

The idea is to put the black stick, which has two circular ends, into the top of the smart egg. You then have to figure out a way to move it through the various paths and holes so that it comes out of the hole on the underside.

It’s actually pretty addictive to be honest! As mentioned above this game is aimed at children over six years old, but our twins who are almost four love it and can actually do it too!

The smart egg we were sent is level one and it’s pretty easy. The one thing I will say is that once you’ve done it once, you’ll probably remember how to do it so it does take the challenge away a little, but then I guess that’s when it’s time to move onto a smart egg which is a bit more difficult.

The smart egg is definitely enjoyable and although I remember how to get the stick out, I still enjoy playing it, as do our twins. I did a quick video of our girls having a go at the smart egg:

Smart Eggs are available for £5.99 from Waterstones, Amazon and others.

For the purpose of this review we were sent one Smart Egg. All views and opinions are 100% my own.
