As a mum I like to encourage our children to take part in all sorts of different activities. I hate to think of them spending the majority of the day in front of the TV.


I like to play games with them, paint pictures with them and go for walks with them. Playing games together is a great way to get the whole family together. I was recently sent a new game for us all to play and we’ve certainly been having lots of fun with it!


Palace Pets Royal Pet Salon is a game like none I’ve ever played before. It really does come to life as it’s a 3D game!

As a mum of twins, one of whom is obsessed with dogs, I knew this game would be a hit!


The 3D dollhouse-like, Royal Pet Salon will help your pet get pampered in no time! Four super cute pets are included with this game and it’s really easy to play.

Simply spin the spinner and move the adorable sculpted pet from room to room. You ‘ll either move your pet a few space or pick a card. As you move you’ll be looking for primo pet products, from fancy shampoos and soaps, to tiaras, collars and sweet treats. These are all hidden throughout the richly illustrated rooms.

I like that the spinner displays pictures as it makes it easier for younger players to understand the game. If you pick a tiara card, then you need to find tiara. Once the player has found it, they get to keep the tiara card.


The spinner, boards, pets and everything else included are all bright and colourful. In addition they’re all really well made so if your three year old does decide to have a chew on the spinner, you should be ok!

The aim of the game is to collect as many grooming goodies as possible. When the time is up, the winner is the player with the most goodies!

Overall, this is a great game that is a lot fun for all ages. It’s easy for young children to understand which is great as it means no little people getting frustrated! Just plenty of fun!
