This month, we’re meeting Amy from Amy & Tots.
1. Tell us about yourself and your blog.
I’m Amy, a stay at home mom, from the West Midlands. I have 3 darling children; Keira (3 years), Joshua (18 months) and Zara (4 months). I write all about our life with 3 children and our struggles. I started blogging purely to document my second pregnancy but I quickly realised I enjoyed it more I thought and so it begun!
2. What is your current relationship status?
I’m engaged to the lovely Darren. We’ve together for just over 4 years now.
3. Do you ever celebrate Valentine’s Day?
I don’t normally celebrate Valentine’s Day, we just tend to get each other a card. I can never be bothered and we don’t have time to go on a cute date. Not with 3 kids!
4. It’s your first date! Where do you go?
Ohh, it would probably be to a nice bar for a few drinks or something like that. A bit of alcohol to boost confidence.
5. What’s the most romantic thing anyone has ever done for you?
Pfft, I don’t actually think anyone has actually done something romantic for me. Maybe Darren’s random chocolate buying ha!
6. What is your favourite romantic film? Cheesier the better.
Easy peasy, that’s Love Actually.
7. Spill the beans! Who’s your celebrity crush?
I have a few, but I think if I had to pick one it would have to be Cillian Murphy.
8. Flowers are pretty popular at this time of year. Do you like receiving them or do they really not float your boat?
I don’t mind them, I’d rather not have them in the house though.
9. Do you have children? Do you want any (or any more)?
As I said above, we have 3. I think I’d like 1 more, but not until the others are in school.
10. What would be (or was) your choice of song for your first dance at your wedding?
I would have either Westlife – I Do or Bon Jovi – Thank You for Loving Me
11. Do you have any plans yet for Valentine’s Day 2017?
Nope, my sister-in-law is having her baby that day so it’s going to be a special day this year.
12. Raw oysters are pretty famous for being an aphrodisiac. Have you ever tried them?
Yup, they are vile.
13. Imagining money’s no object, where would you go for a romantic getaway?
I’d take Darren to Mexico! I went in 2012 and it was amazing, I would love for him to experience it too.
14. What’s the best Valentine’s gift you’ve ever received?
I’ve never had a gift for Valentine’s Day (can you hear my tiny violin playing?)
15. Finally, what is the number one most important thing you value in a relationship.
Trust. After a few bad relationships it has certainly opened my eyes and I realise just how important it is to have that element of trust between both partners.
